Course Information
Description This course is a survey of institutional and non-institutional corrections. Emphasis will be placed on the organization and operation of correctional systems; treatment and rehabilitation; populations served; Constitutional issues; and current and future issues.

Attendance Policy

Regular prompt attendance is required. Excessive absences will result in reduced grades and/or failure. Since this is an online class, students are required to log in an at least once per week. There may be discussions and/or assignments posted in the class each week, so weekly attendance to the online class is essential.

Extra credit will not be provided in this course. Please be sure to complete the assignments within the required timeframe.
